These cream cheese puff pastries, topped with cinnamon sugar, are delicious served cold with your morning coffee! They are like a cream cheese danish — but with two layers of flaky puff pastry!
I love this recipe because it’s so easy to make. The ingredients are easy to find at your local supermarket. In fact, you probably have most of them in your refrigerator or pantry!
Cream Cheese Puff Pastry Ingredients
- Puff pastry or refrigerated crescent roll dough
- Cream cheese
- White sugar
- Vanilla extract
- Egg
- Butter
- Cinnamon
How to Make Cream Cheese Puff Pastries
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9×13 inch pan.
- Mix together the cream cheese, egg, sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
- Lay first layer of puff pastry on the casserole dish. Add some mixture on top, getting to the edges. Top with another layer of puff pastry.
- Pour the melted butter on the top, brushing well with a pastry brush. Sprinkle with the sugar and cinnamon topping.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the top is crisp and golden.
- Chill 4 hours or overnight so it’s well chilled. Serve.
These cinnamon puff pastries are also delicious served as a dessert!

- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
