Camp Kitchen Packing List

We like to eat well when we go camping, which is why I’ve been fine-tuning my camp kitchen packing list for years.  Organization is essential, especially if you’re going to be far away from a store. The last thing you need is to be missing a trash bag, cutting board, knife or other essentials when you’re getting ready to cook dinner!

Our camping travels have taken us all over California —from the Infield at NASCAR, the beaches of San Diego, to desert getaways in Borrego Springs.

For cooking, I always bring along my Camp Chef flat top grill. It’s great for making juicy burgers, fajitas, crispy quesadillas, scrambled eggs, pancakes and grilled cheese.

My 55-gallon Dometic Patrol ice chest keeps all of my perishables cool, while the storage box is great for keeping all of my tools and dry goods organized in one place. I also like to pack the water jug and faucet, which is great for having clean drinking water always on hand. You can also use it to wash your hands at camp!

Following are some of my favorite things to pack for a camping trip. Did I miss something? Drop me a line in the comments!

My camp kitchen packing list includes the Dometic Go hard storage.
