We recently enjoyed this summer cocktail at the Mercato Centrale in Florence. It’s the perfect drink to beat the heat. It also makes a great drink for a summer brunch!

The Bar and Coffee Shop are located on the top level of the Florence Central Market. The building was designed in 1874 by Giuseppe Mengoni, who also built the stylish Vittorio Emanuele II gallery in Milan.

Next, follow with the same amounts of sweet and sour mix. Add a splash of soda water. Finally, top off each glass with 5 ounces of Prosecco.

Adding the Prosecco to the spritz.
