This Passion Fruit Spritz recipe, a twist on the Italian Aperol Spritz, is made with passion fruit syrup, sour mix, soda water and Prosecco. It’s a refreshing and delicious drink to enjoy during your apertivo hour!

We recently enjoyed this summer cocktail at the Mercato Centrale in Florence. It’s the perfect drink to beat the heat. It also makes a great drink for a summer brunch!
The Bar and Coffee Shop are located on the top level of the Florence Central Market. The building was designed in 1874 by Giuseppe Mengoni, who also built the stylish Vittorio Emanuele II gallery in Milan.

Passion Fruit Spritz Recipe Ingredients
To make this Passion Fruit Spritz recipe the authentic Italian way, pour 2 1/2 ounces of Monin Passion Fruit Syrup into two large wine glasses.
Next, follow with the same amounts of sweet and sour mix. Add a splash of soda water. Finally, top off each glass with 5 ounces of Prosecco.

Fill with ice, garnish with dehydrated lemons and fresh cut passion fruit and enjoy!

- 5 oz. Monin Passion Fruit Syrup
- 5 oz. Sweet and Sour Mix
- 2 1/2 oz. sparkling water
- 10 oz. Prosecco
- 2 slices dehydrated lemons for garnish
- 2 wedges of fresh passion fruit for garnish
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Mix the Prosecco, passion fruit syrup, sweet and sour mix and sparkling water in a pitcher. Fill two large red wine glasses with ice. Pour the mix over ice and garnish each glass with dehydrated lemons and passion fruit wedges, if desired.
