This jalapeño vodka cocktail, scented with crushed blueberries, is a delicious drink year-round. Named the Velvet Joyride, the cocktail was created by Bartender Vince Hardesty, formerly of Rapour Restaurant in Rancho Cucamonga, California.

Velvet Joyride – Jalapeno Vodka Cocktail
- 1 jalapeño
- Handful of blueberries
- 2 ounces vodka
- 1/2 ounce lemon juice
- 3/4 ounce honey syrup
- Splash of soda water
- Put 1 jalapeño and a handful of blueberries into a cocktail glass.
- Muddle them and add 2 ounces of vodka.
- Add 1/2 ounce of lemon juice and 3/4 ounce of honey syrup.
- Shake, add a splash of soda water, strain, and serve over ice with a blueberry.
