These smoked bacon jalapeno poppers come together quickly, made with fresh jalapenos, cream cheese and sliced bacon.

I prepared these jalapeno poppers on my smoker, but you can put these on a tray and bake them in the oven at 350 F for about 20 minutes, or until cooked through.

Feel free to use your favorite red or green jalapeños, or even some habanero peppers if you are feeling brave and dangerous!
Smoked Bacon Jalapeno Poppers

- 8 fresh jalapeños
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 8 slices bacon
Instructions
- Wear some latex gloves as you slice down the jalapeño lengthwise, being careful not to cut all the way through. Scrape out the seeds with a spoon or melon baller.
- Stuff each jalapeño with cream cheese until it’s pretty full.
- Wrap the bacon, starting at the top, and wrapping around each jalapeño to the bottom.
- Place on a cooking rack and place in the smoker at 220 F for an hour, or in your oven at 350 F for 20 minutes.
