Campfire Churros

Campfire Churros Recipe
This Campfire Churros Recipe is a fun and easy dessert for camping.

During a summer camping trip to the Kern River, I met some fun neighbors who invited us over to make their campfire churros recipe.

Nicknamed the Kern River Crusties, these campfire churros are nothing more than packaged biscuit dough that’s rolled into little balls and then cooked with skewers over the campfire. Once the biscuits are cooked through, you roll them in a cinnamon-sugar-butter mixture.

Be sure that kids are supervised by an adult when making these, especially when heating the butter.
