If you ever have a chance to make my homemade smoked salmon, this smoked salmon appetizer recipe is a great way to serve it. Make up this spread and refrigerate it for at least a couple hours. When the salmon is done, serve small slices with the spread on water crackers. Enjoy!

Smoked Salmon Appetizer Recipe

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Louisiana hot sauce
  • 4 tablespoons capers, drained
  • 4 teaspoons prepared horseradish
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 4 teaspoons chopped chives
  • Smoked salmon (see my video recipe!)

Instructions

  1. Mix all of the ingredients well (except salmon) and refrigerate. Serve with smoked salmon on water crackers, topped with some extra chives for garnish.
