Perfect Hard Boiled Eggs
Cooking perfect hard-boiled eggs may seem simple enough, but here are a few tips to make the process easier. To determine the difference between raw eggs and hard-boiled eggs in the refridgerator, spin the egg on your counter. The raw egg will not spin; the hard boiled egg will spin upright like a top!
- Place the eggs in a pot of cool water, then bring to a boil, cooking a total of 10-15 minutes.
- Next, immediately cool the eggs under cold running water to prevent the brown/green ring from forming around the yolk.
- Though you can easily peel hard boiled eggs under running cool water, you can also try this "blowing trick." Simply remove the shell from both ends of the egg and blow the egg out with your mouth. (For personal consumption only) :)
