I recently took the plunge and got myself a new smoker — the Green Mountain Pellet Grill. Putting it together proved a bit tricky, so I asked my friend Sharm Stiltz to show me the proper assembly of the Green Mountain Grill. Unlike many smokers, the Green Mountain grill uses small wood pellets to fire the stove. When it runs low, an alarm sounds, so you never run out of fuel. Another great part of this smoker is the fact that it has an automatic temperature control. With the push of a button, you can set your smoker temperature to whatever you like — whether it’s low and slow for some smoked salmon, or at high temperatures for cooking steaks or chicken.
