Crazy Coyote Tacos

I love exploring our backyard for great restaurants. Here’s my Crazy Coyote Tacos review!

On the road today to Palm Springs and stopped at one of the best tacos restaurants in California — Crazy Coyote Tacos on the border of Banning and Cabazon. Located on the Morongo Band of Mission Indians Reservation, this taco stand has been drawing hungry travelers for decades. The secret to these tacos is their amazing chile verde, the ghost chile sauce, and the thick tortilla, which is more like an Indian Fry Bread!

Crazy Coyote Tacos is located in Banning on the way to Palm Springs.

Every time we head to the Coachella Valley, we always have to stop at Crazy Coyote Tacos either on our way there or on our way home. No matter what you order on the menu, you won’t be disappointed!

The menu at Crazy Coyote is simple, but they do it REALLY well!

I recommend the Giant Taco, which comes with your choice of steak, chicken or the chile verde. You can also order the burritos, taquitos, or Super Nachos, which comes with the same choice of fillings. I’ve always found the restaurants with the fewest items on the menu, serve up some of the best cuisine — because they are only focused on perfecting what they have!

Everyone is a fan of Crazy Coyote Tacos!

Crazy Coyote Tacos also has a vegetarian option for you non meat eaters. Just don’t forget to buy extra portions of their Ghost Salsa!

You’ll find Crazy Coyote Tacos at 13033 Malki Road, Banning, CA 92220. (951) 849-2000.

The seating is limited to outdoor dining on picnic tables, but it has shade during the heat of summer!
